Can a garment be let out as well as taken in?
Often, yes. It depends entirely on how much allowance the maker left in the seams, and that varies enormously between a well-cut garment and a cheaply cut one. We look at the inside of the piece before saying what is possible, and we will not promise an increase the cloth cannot give.
Are fittings private?
Always. One appointment at a time and no shop floor. Every visit is booked in advance, Monday to Friday between 10:00 and 5:00.
